Welcome to the ultimate indoor cricket experience at the Herts & Essex Cricket Centre. Looking for indoor cricket nets near you? Our state-of-the-art nets are perfect for players of all ages and abilities, with five wide lanes you can hire seven days a week, all year round.

Whether you want a quiet daytime net, club nets for your whole team, or somewhere to keep your eye in over winter, you can book your lane online in just a couple of minutes. We are at Tharbies Farm in Sawbridgeworth, a short drive from Bishop’s Stortford, Harlow and Stansted, with free parking on site.

Net hire prices

All prices are per lane, per hour, and we publish them in full so there are no surprises.

Option

Price

A deposit of £36 per lane secures your booking and comes off your final bill. Payment is made at the time of booking by card, cheque or cash, payable to The HECC Cricket School Ltd.

Club net hire and winter blocks

HECC is your local go-to centre to host your club nets this winter. Hire a single lane or the whole hall, and contact us to block book your winter nets and take advantage of discounted rates on prepayment and on more than ten sessions. With five lanes, your whole club can train on the same evening rather than splitting across two venues.

Frequently asked questions

Where are your indoor cricket nets?

We are at HECC, Tharbies Farm, Rook End, High Wych, Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire CM21 0LL, with free parking on site and a short drive from Bishop’s Stortford, Harlow and Stansted.

Lane hire starts at £28 per lane per hour for under 18s and family net hire. Adult and mixed nets are £36 per lane per hour, and a Bola bowling machine can be added for £15 per hour.

Yes. We have Bola bowling machines available on any of our five lanes, with an automatic feeder so you can practise on your own.

Yes. Clubs can hire individual lanes or the whole hall and block book winter nets, with discounted rates for prepayment and for more than ten sessions.

Monday to Friday 3pm to 10pm, and Saturday and Sunday 9am to 9pm, with daytime weekday bookings also available.
