Cricket Physiotherapy

Do physical and functional weaknesses limit your performance? Our integrated physiotherapy
brings together expert cricket coaching and tailored physiotherapy to enhance your cricketing
performance.

Cricket asks a lot of the body. Fast bowlers load their backs, spinners and throwers work their
shoulders, and batters and fielders pick up strains and knocks. Our service is built around the
injuries cricketers actually get, so you can be treated, rehabbed and put back into a net with the
right support. Most cricket physios can only treat. Here, treatment and coaching work together,
which is the difference between getting better and staying better.

Treatment led by a Chartered Physiotherapist

Our physiotherapy is delivered with George Cooper of GC Physiotherapy. George is a Chartered
Physiotherapist with extensive experience at professional clubs including Nottingham Forest,
Crystal Palace and West Ham United, and in 2012 he opened his own private practice in Stansted,
Essex, offering elite-level treatment to athletes of every level.

Our Director of Coaching, Luke Humphrey, came to George as a patient after a back injury, and
the two now work together to combine high-performance coaching with proper rehabilitation. That
partnership is the heart of the service.

How we can help

  • Assessment and treatment of common cricket injuries, including back, shoulder, hamstring
    and ankle problems.
  • Injury prevention and screening, so small issues do not become big ones.
  • Return-to-play and return-to-bowl support, planned with our coaching team.
  • Performance support to help you move better and play with more confidence.

If something is sore, do not wait for it to get worse. Why not book today? Use the booking form, call
