At HECCSport Indoor Centre for Cricket we welcome both national and international cricketers. We welcome and cater for everyone, from individuals, schools, clubs, corporate through to international teams. Situated in the open countryside, but just a few minutes from main towns and travel facilities, we are within easy reach of London.

We have a unique environment offering high class training and study in the peace and rural tranquility of the English countryside, with fishing on site, golf and other sporting activities nearby.

TRAVEL: Within easy reach of the major airports London Heathrow and Gatwick. We are just 15 minutes from Stansted Airport and Junction 7 on the M11 motorway. This allows easy road access either South to London which is only 40 minutes drive away or North to Loughorough and Edgbaston. With the home of cricket, Lords, just an hour away we are ideally placed to fulfill your every cricketing need.

FACILITY: As a training centre our 5 lane indoor cricket hall with specialist flooring is exceptionally long with a 20 meter run up to suit all types of players. Eight independent video cameras in the hall give excellent video analysis opportunities. Outdoor areas are also available and a specialist education suite is planned for 2012. In all an ideal base for touring teams and individuals. We are registered with 1st4Sport as a recogonised Coach Education Centre for all sports.

COACHING: We are home to “The Cricket Academy” with Director of Coaching, Luke Humphrey. Luke has been a professional coach since 1999 moving up the coaching levels of the England & Wales Cricket Board’s Coach Education programme. Luke, currently finishing his final year of the ECB Level 4 Mastercoach, was lead batting coach in 2011 for the England Talent Testing of 13 and 16 year olds. Luke is qualified in Neuro Linguistics and holds workshops focusing on fitness of the mind as well as the body. He is also a staff tutor for coach education. This Academy can create bespoke coaching programmes to suit your individual needs.

LINKS. We have links with local schools, colleges and universities, local cricket clubs and County Cricket Associations giving playing opportunity at all age and skill levels.

DOMESTICS: Residential or hotel accommodation can be arranged locally to include relaxation and ‘down time’ between training/playing. Visits to local attractions and amenities are also available.
